Fights in elementary school... who should get in trouble?
Scenario: child 1 starts the fight by kicking child 2. Child 2 tries to get an adult before the situation escalates. While running to get an adult, child 1 runs up behind and pushes child 2 on the ground and kicks him again. Child 2 retaliated to defend himself so that child 1 doesn’t beat him up. Who should be in trouble?
Bonus question: should we be teaching our kids to not fight back in a fight and causing a victim mentality?
