Concerned.. Should i be?

So I got an early ultrasound at 6w5d yesterday because I was spotting. Baby looked good has a heart rate of 121 and looked exactly the size it should. They said my spotting is most likely due to a very small cyst on my right ovary. Is this normal? I stop spotting then it starts again I'm probably overreacting. It's only when I wipe and its a light brown/pink color that is kind of like cm consistency.
