How many mature follicles?!

I'm on my 2nd round of Clomid 100 mg and went in for my cd13 follicle scan and there were 6 mature follicles all ranging from 20-31mm. Anyone get this many? My first round I only got 2. Not sure what to think. No concerns from Dr but after some research I'm finding that larger sizes like high 20s isn't that great?

My doctor preferred them under 28 I think. The cycle I got pregnant I actually had 6 mature follicles, my RE advised us to abstain and cancel the cycle bc of the risk of multiples. We didn’t do the trigger shot like we had planned but we also didn’t abstain like we were told and now I’m 19 weeks pregnant (just one baby)!

I had 4 mature follicles that were about 25 and I ovulated 2 days later so they were probably slightly bigger by the time I actually ovulated. I did 59mg cycle day 5-9. Got pregnant first cycle!

I’m on my 2nd clomid + IUI cycle now. First cycle I had 3 follicles in the 18-20mm range and had all the cramps and breast soreness but AF came 3 days early. This 2nd cycle, we started on CD 6 with 50mg Clomid and did ovidrel and IUI with 5 follicles. Sizes were slightly larger the 4 big ones were in the low 20’s and 1 smaller one around 18. Dr gave us the option to not do the IUI because of increased chance of multiples but we’re re just hoping for anything at this point.

my dr would have cancelled cycle if I had six! I did hear over 26 weren’t good but not sure

I have a few questions if anyone would like to answer.. How long were you trying to get pregnant before the Dr started you on clomid? Also did they do the ultrasound checks on your first clomid cycle? And what did you try before clomid if anything? Did they do any ultrasounds or any other tests before starting it? Thank you!
