Is fake news okay if it's uplifting/postive?
For example there is a lovely story about a dog that guides people to safety during the collapse of the world trade center buildings. It's very heartwarming but completely false. There are also some embellishments on some mass shooting victims that are poetic and eyecatching but untrue. So in general are they good, bad, or neither?
Bonus Question: if you notice these postive but fake stories, do you let the person who shared them know they are fake? Or do you let them enjoy the story?
