If you are seeing your obgyn are they updating you on mature follicles and everything?? Or is that only something the RE does??

My obgyn would monitor by having me come in on cycle day 21 to make sure the dosage was making me have a good ovulation. It did work for me that way, currently 20 weeks.

My doctor has me come in the week of ovulation to look at the follicles then blood work a week after ovulation to confirm it. Started clomid today.

My understanding is obgyns just prescribe the clomid and then test your progesterone after ovulation to see if it works. REs are the ones who do ultrasounds to look for follicles. I’m doing round 1 of Clomid starting tomorrow with my obgyn, so no monitoring for me. I’m young and have no history of ovarian issues, so I’m not worried about not being monitored with u/s.

My obgyn originally offered me clomid.   she told me it wouldn't be monitored though.   I am currently taking clomid from my RE.  I'm only doing one cycle unmonitored before I do clomid iui monitored.
