My SO and I have been together for two years. We live together. We are best friends. We don’t ever fight. Our relationship is built on mutual love, respect, loyalty and communication. We would do anything for each other and we are both excited about starting a family in the future and getting married. I have more than enough money saved up for our future, we have a home together, we have good jobs, everything in our life is kind of perfect for us.

We aren’t engaged yet and I’m not putting any pressure on him at all. I want him to ask me because he wants to, not just to appease me.

But I really just want to be married to him already. I am looking forward to the (short) engagement and the farm wedding, but mostly I’m just looking forward to it all being over so we can just be married and get on with our lives together.

I know two years isn’t a long time before getting engaged, but we both want to spend our lives together. I just want to get the wedding over and done with. 😊
