Should I go back to work or just collect ?

I got laid off and have a high risk pregnancy with twins ... I want to work because the money I get from unemployment is just enough to cover bills but nothing extra for savings or babies.  If I work it would be around the same amount that I get from unemployment. I don't want to feel lazy I need to make more $$

I dunno, you have to consider that you may not be able to take any maternity leave if you haven't been working there very long and you would be in the same position that you were now. If you would be making the same amount, I will just wait until you're ready to go back after the babies are born. I really admire your work ethic but you should rest, especially because this may be a rough pregnancy

I think working will wind up putting you on bed rest and making no money. As hard as it is, take the unemployment and wait until the babies are born and you're healthy to start working.

Don't jeopardize your pregnancy, but you should actively look for work. Unemployment is for people in a rough transition trying to find work, not an excuse to chill, pregnant or not.

I'm in the same boat... I think you should go back to work as long as it's somewhere where you can sit and prop your feet and won't be a added stress for the pregnancy. Save the unemployment until right at the last min before you give birth so that way you have more time after and during with the babies without having to rush back to work😉
