Bloody show??

Question

I had my membranes swept at my appt yesterday (exactly 39w). I was 2cm dilated & 50% effaced. I went on a walk & bounced on my yoga ball for about an hour last night. Ever since, when I wipe, there's blood & big chunks of mucus. It's not bright red though...looks more like old blood. Is this still my bloody show?? So ready for this little girl to be here. 😭

Probably just from the doctor irritating the area (which is the idea behind doing a sweep). If it was mixed with a egg white/snot/booger like mucus discharge it’s more likely to be your bloody show or mucus plug. There’s nothing to worry about unless you get a large amount of blood coming out (period level). They say that the mucus plug is a sign labor could be near because it means your cervix is changing allowing the protective plug to come out but not a sure sign of how soon.
