What are your thoughts? When people say you have pregnancy brain when you don’t remember something or get it right the first time.

I personally think it’s stupid. I can take jokes but I honestly don’t find this to be hilarious. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m pretty sure there was a study done either this year or last year that proved Baby Brain is an actual thing. I know my brain hasn’t been the same as now I can be very forgetful and forget certain words and all. So for me it’s true so it doesn’t bother or annoy me

It’s a real thing. A woman’s brain composition changes during pregnancy. I don’t get offended by facts; I laugh with them.

It's only annoying because that shit is real. If you don't experience it, count yourself lucky. That doesn't mean others don't. Your brain actually changes during pregnancy. It doesn't get much better once baby is here. My daughter is 7 months old. Anything and everything dealing with her, I've got no issue remembering. Words, shoes, left from right, why I'm walking into a room, losing a thought right in the middle of saying it... yea. Anything not dealing with her is another story. Science. Your brain is so focused on baby that it forgets anything else it thinks is useless or unimportant in relation to your child. Suddenly knowing which shoe goes on which foot isnt important because it doesn't help tiny human.

Recently I’ve been forgetting stuff (thank God not important things) but like I might forget what I ate or to call back someone 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

I definitely dont feel as sharp as usual. I had to tell my boss early on as i was making stupid mistakes, thankfully they dodnt affect any one and were caught before moving on, but i feel so silly sometimes!

My doc said its real?! He said its bc the placenta is taking blood away from the brain

Happened to me; start of it was leaving my fridge door open a few times in second trimester
Now i have to make grocery list cuz ill forget what i need...or sometimes words i use all the time...i sincerely knew, i cant; memory blank until it comes back...
