Does it irk you whenever someone that's pregnant openly complains on Facebook about their pregnancy?

My cousin is pregnant with her second baby, and throughout her first pregnancy she complained SO much. 6 weeks along, and she's already driving all of us(her family) insane with complaints. Being 5 months along I just look at her and roll my eyes. (Maybe I'm just not one to complain about things other than to my SO and my mom) I know that she does it for attention, but it irks me when she posts it on Facebook because I find it SO insensitive to people that have had multiple miscarriages (I had one before this pregnancy), people with fertility issues, and people that have lost their babies in various ways. Making a post about complaining, while complaining.. Sorry.

Just because someone complains about a rough pregnancy doesn't mean they're any less grateful for their baby. I'm not sure why it should offend those who have lost a pregnancy. I HATE being pregnant. I suffered a loss and that was heartbreaking. I'm pregnant again (thank god) but I don't enjoy it. I definitely don't have babies for pregnancy, I do it for the child I hopefully will get to raise. Sometimes sharing your struggles with others makes you not feel so alone, especially if it's your first and you have guilt about hating pregnancy.

It irks me more when people brag about how easy their pregnancies are bc mine has been rough.. But either way posting on social media about pregnancy should be done minimally bc it is insensitive to those who have struggled.

As someone who has gone through 6 years of infertility, almost all baby stuff got to me. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Once I accepted my
situation, I realized it wasn't my place to reprimand someone for complaining about their pregnancy/parenting. If FB is their vent, so be it. I never wanted my friends or family to tiptoe around me. It broke my heart when a good friend waited weeks to tell me she was pregnant bc she knew my struggles. Now if someone said something directly to my face that was insensitive, I might react but I got to a point where I felt that they have every right to complain (or celebrate) if that's how they cope. That being said, FB temporary blocking is an amazing tool!

Complaints on Facebook irritate me no matter what, lol. Especially pregnancy though...people have been doing this since the dawn of time, it's not like they're the only one to even go through it! I de friended someone once because she described all of her pregnancy #2s. Like seriously, no one wants to know that.

I had a miscarriage the first time I got pregnant. It was heartbreaking but people moaning about their pregnancies didn't bother me. I think some people are just excited to be pregnant and is a kind of 'look at me I'm still pregnant' thing lol xxx

My SIL is like that. I just roll my eyes and let her have her moment if she needs it. She's been rubbing her stomach since 3-4 weeks. At almost 22 weeks with twins I only do that when they are moving a lot, cramping, or I bump into something.

Every pregnancy is different though so maybe hers is tougher than yours.
