BBT????

Question

Is there a reason my BBT is all over the place??? I know I'm not ovulating my period is suppose to start on Aug 16th so I'm not sure if I'm pregnant but it's all over the place going from 97 to 98 can anyone till me why??

To get an accurate bbt, you have to take your temp immediately after waking up. Don't even get out of bed. I keep my thermo on my nightstand so I can just reach over without moving very much. The idea of a bbt is that it is a resting temp taken after being asleep for a few hours and a few hours after eating, or excersizing, or basically anything that could have an outside influence on your temp. Also it's best to use a bbt thermo to get the most accurate reading.

I need everyone to understand I am now at checking my BBT so idk if I'm doing it wrong so instead of saying that I'm not doing it right tell me how I'm suppose to do it... I just started checking my BBT I've been trying for baby #1 for 6 years now so any help would be great

Mines more up and down I would feel if I saw your temps that yours would be more normal looking. That's just compared to mine.
