Just wondering how common ovulation pain is? Do you get it?

I kind of feel like someone is stabbing my kidneys, and it hurts to lay down or twist.

I got it for the first 4 or 5 mths after coming off bc. It felt like I had pulled a muscle in my pelvis area, it hurt when I would go to sit down and really hurt during sex to the point I was almost crying.  My body has regulated itself now and I don't get the pain anymore.

Never had it before..I have 2 boys and didn't get any cramps or signs with them other than a yeast infection. I've only ever had 2 and it was when I got pregnant with both my boys!
