terbutaline shot anyone ?

Ok so I am 34 weeks and 1 day and I was having contractions and pains so the doc gave me a terbutaline shot , then I get home and look up info about it and see fda does not recommend it for pregnant women at all. They are strongly against it. Anyone else had this ?? Btw I'm still having contractions ?

I've had 3 shots of this during my pregnancy to stop contractions. It does make your heart go wild which isn't a nice feeling! 
I had one in the 2nd trimester and two in the 3rd. I think if they deem it necessary then it's safer than continuing contractions.

Just got the shot today after having contractions that I wasn't even aware of. I was at my scheduled weekly nst test and the nurse let me know I was having contractions. She gave me the shot after talking to my doctor and then I was good to go about an hour later. I have had lower back pain since I got the shot. But besides that no side affects. I'm 33w3d.

Yup I had it made my heart feel like it was gonna jump out of my chest but after a couple hours the contractions came back but a couple days later they whent away on there own

I've had it twice this pregnancy at 24w & 33w it didn't stop my contractions it just slowed them down  but baby is still healthy & at 36w I'm still pregnant
