(Backstory)

My boyfriend plays football, he isn’t afraid of football at all so he plays very hard. Football is his passion and it helps him a lot because he doesn’t have the best home life. Last Friday he had got hit in the back with a helmet during a tackle, ever since then he had been hurting to the point he couldn’t sit in the school desk. Yet still went to practice and everything.

The other day it got so bad he went to the hospital, the hospital told him his disks located in his back are bulging out and the area around his spine is swollen pretty bad. There was a 75% chance he would need surgery and if he got it he wouldn’t be able to play football again. . . If his legs went numb he has to go into emergency surgery

Today I got home and he was texting me saying his legs are numb he was crying it was bad. Now he has to get the surgery, and his football career is basically over. How can I help him? His hospital is 1.25 hr away so I can’t travel there because I personally do not have a license and parents are strict. . . He is scared and panicked I’m just worried
