Scheduled inductions??

Question

Has anyone had a scheduled induction that wasn't like medically necessary? If so, what was your experience with it? I'm just curious how it went for some people and what it was like! Thanks for any input!

I have one scheduled and this is my first child. I have decided on this, purely voluntary, as I have a huge fear of going over. I was 2 weeks late and a very big baby (11 pounds). My OB supports this, as she knows I'm anxious and will have unnecessary stress.

I'm having a scheduled induction due to GD. I didn't even know you could get a one not for medical reasons! I've been advised on this and my consultant care has been faultless so I've never questioned them. X

Me & my doctor have discussed it she wants to wait until next week when I am 38 weeks, I got induced with my first child, I'm miserable and ready to meet my baby boy
