I love to crochet and have been branching out and selling some. With that being said I have been trying different patterns and u swear, everything I make looks way to big for babys, but it's the EXACT size the pattern says.

This baby hat is supposed to be a new born size. The bottom row is exactly 7 in" which according to the directions is right, but it looks huge. The girl who's baby I made it for thought I made one for myself to test out the pattern. How do you size baby stuff?
