For me to get tricare after he filed the paperwork for us being married? He just went back to Georgia and I’m still in Texas until December. I’ll move back with him after we get BAH and all that. After I get put into DEERS I can drive to the JRB and get my ID. After that do I have access to my insurance? I’m clueless

Yes once you get enrolled into DEERS you should already be enrolled into the insurance!

Have all your information is uploaded into DEERS have your husband call the Tricare office to confirm you are all set!

You should have got your ID when he enrolled you if not you’ll have to wait until he is with you unless you have power of attorney. He can’t start the process for BAH until he is out of the barracks unfortunately and it took us 3 months for us to get our BAH anyways. You should be on the insurance as soon as you get your ID and are enrolled in DEERS. I know i was on a month later at least because i found out i was pregnant i didn’t go to the doctor before that. I also know if you want to go to an off base doctor you have to pay for TRICARE select .
