Cost of nanny? Nanny share?

Hi Moms!  Is anyone currently in a nanny share?  What do you think the average rate is for a great nanny with two babies?  Is there a big difference in cost with a nanny for one baby vs having a share with two? If nanny has one baby for a day or two is it still full rate? Sorry..a lot of questions but always appreciate the great info!

I think cost depends a lot on where you live too.

At base nanny level just in charge of the baby no cleaning no food no chores just comes to your house and pretty much babysits it’s between 10 to 15 an hr depending on the number of children someone who will do chores cook run errands for you you’re looking at more like 20 to 25 an hour some times 30 if they are over nighters

It depends on what type of nanny you are looking for. Are you a working momma or just need a helping hand at home do you want someone who will cook and clean as well or I’d just in charge of strictly baby. Do you have pets they would be responsible for, will they be at your home or their own, are you in the city suburbs or country. Does the nanny need to take baby to appointment if so do they need there own car do you need them to do shopping for you. Are you looking long term if so do you just want some who is a sitter or someone who can help your baby with learning and schooling are you bilingual do you want your baby to grown up knowing more than one language lol I know it’s a lot but these are questions needed to know before you can answer price I know cuz I was a nanny all through college and for a few years after
