Do you take your hospital bag to work?

Im 35w4d and wondering when I should start bringing my hospital bag to work? If I go into labor at work, I won’t be going home because the hospital is closer to my job. Any suggestions? I think we are installing the car seat in the car this weekend. My husband and I work at the same place, so we commute together.

I leave mine at home. I like to labor at home as long as possible. It is much more comfortable for me.

Agreed! With my first, I had it packed in my car since my job is closer to the hospital than home is.

Ours will be left in the car because hubs wants to have it ready in case I go in. He works at the hospital so, he doesn’t want to drive home from work and back unless he absolutely has to.

Thanks everyone!! Also, good idea about the spare pair of pants, if I need it, if my water breaks! I’ll get it all ready this weekend and pack it in the car. 🙂 Can’t wait!

Mine will be going in the car with the diaper bag this weekend. Had to pick up some last minute things to have everything ready.

Once I pack it it will be in the car until my delivery date.  I don’t want to forget it and I work 5 minutes from hospital. If anything haooens I want the hubs to come atraight to me not stop at home etc
