Gas pains?

Does anyone else get woken up with extremely bad gas pains... I woke up last night and it was horrible. At first I thought I was going to puke, then had a little release but then it just kept hurting... I know it's gas but I wanna sleep.... Any ideas?

If you lie on your left side it is released easier :) helps digestion

Yes, it was bad in my 8th week. The doctor recommended a warm beverage before bed to relax my stomach, like warm lemon water.

Omg I had this happen last night and of course I started freaking out because it's hard to distinguish them from actual cramps. I was sooooo worried until I got up and passed gas (tmi) they continued for a little while but I was at ease because I knew they were gas cramps.

Me!!! It's happened so many times, and not just at night. I massage my belly in circular movements and usually it gets better. Sometimes I do crunches and it is great too!
