Working at sonic(or similar), how do you feel getting tipped change?

I often have no cash so I'll tip a bunch of change, sometimes a ton of dimes and nickels but often wonder how they feel receiving this!

I had a girl get MAD over me "only" tipping her $3 because it was change from a $5, all I got was a damn happy hour drink 🤦😂 I've worked food service and was glad to get whatever the hell I got, they didn't have to give me anything ya know.

Honestly I wouldn’t even think to tip at sonic because it’s a fast food place. Usually you tip at a sit down restaurant where you are served at your table and checked up on during your meal.

I think if it’s over 50 cents , it adds up. Anything less than that is just a slap in the face . I had someone tell me I can keep the change for 4 cents !!! I said no thanks , took it out the cash register and handed it to them lol
