Can anyone help me?

My boyfriend and I have a healthy amount of sex when something was a little off recently, we went and got the morning after pill. 2 weeks pass by and I don’t have any side effects from the pill like I have 1 time before. I know it’s common to be early or late for a period after taking the pill. I am now 4 days late but have been having a brown discharge. Is this normal? Should I take a pregnancy test?
