I’m 16, my boyfriend who is 18, has just left for basic training in the Marine Corps. i’m scared shitless. My mom was in the Navy growing up. so i know exactly what the military life is like. I had plans to go to college and become a psychologist, but turns out, i wanna marry the kid one day. truly and honestly. advice? should i keep him around? should i follow through with my plans and continue to make him wait for another 6 years? (i’m a junior in high school + 4 years of college.) I love the kid. but damn. i don’t know what to do.
