Another name?

Anyone else regret naming their child their name or just me? Had my daughter in August and her name is Ashton Everly Troy but I feel like I should’ve named her Cleo James and that my son whose name is Carson James should’ve been Carson Troy 🤦‍♀️

My son has a very common name, and I had a list of names that included some not-so-common. Even though I always here people calling to other people with his name on the playground, and I thought it would irritate me, it totally doesn’t. He fits his name so well and I am happy with it.

I did for about 7 months until I got used to calling him by it. I was talked out the name I really wanted to name him ,Connor, so that was a little hard for me but I adjusted and can't imagine calling him another name now

when I was in the hospital I kept asking my husband "does she look like a Kamry to you?".
I really honestly didnt think she "looked like"  what I named her. it took a few days and my husbands reassurance to be convinced and now 2 years later the name just fits her perfectly.
although I dont have any suggestions, I think what your feeling is completely normal!

I'm happy with my daughter's name.
I didn't chose her name before she was born though and actually waited to name her until a day after she was born. We had a list of names narrowed down before going to the hospital but I think meeting her helped make the decision.
