Attachment

Wondering if anyone’s weaned babies have an attachment to their breasts??? How long does this last? 😳😣

My daughter was an amazing breastfeeder for 14 months. She would have continued breastfeeding if I had not gotten pregnant. This pregnancy has taken a toll on my body 😔 but before I warned her I NEVER thought she would wean. So I let her replace the behavior with holding my boobs with her hands. She STILL is obsessed with my breasts 4 months later 😩 she has to feel my breasts when I put her to sleep. She is sick today so she is constantly laying her head on my bare breasts. She calls them “boo boos” and will ask for them when she is tired or sick.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad she can be comforted by my boobs I guess, but it is starting to get a little old being fondled.... will she stop this or is it something I will have to just stop allowing and let her cry for hours while holding her when she is tired? 😔
