BPD How to get help?

Question

Scared for my baby who's coming soon. I have Borderline Personality Disorder and I'm scared I'm going to be a horrible mom. 
Does anyone else have this and know what to do? I hate it, but I can't control it :(

I also have borderline personality disorder dont go nuts or be afraid. I have the mean me the nice me and the super depressed me and probably more lol. You should first learn to spot when you are going to have those personality changes. Then learn how to keep that personality from taking over. You need to find your coping skill. Whe i feel im going to be the angry me i listen to my clasical music to help soothe and keep me calm. It wot make you a bad parent but i would suggest lerning to cope with it to the best of your ability i have so many different disorders and it is just the matter of learning about them and figuring out what you can do to control them the best you can.

Just by worry about it, shows you'll be a good mom.  I m assuming since you know your diagnosis, you are or have been in therapy, so you know your triggers and others around you do too.  ( my background is psychology, I understand what you're talking about). There are a lot of people who live with many different disorders ( I have PTSD and the myriad of problems that come with that diagnosis).  I worried about the same thing before I gave birth to my son.  Most everyone has fears similar to this, diagnosis or not,  that's part of being a parent, worrying we'll do something to screw up our kids.
