Is it safe to sleep in a tampon?

I’ve always heard that your not supposed to but I really hate pads and there so uncomfortable!

Unless you want a chance of getting TSS i HIGHLY suggest using a pad. Its not like you are out and about with the pad on.

I’ve done it once, but I don’t recommend it. I slept about four hours before I switched to a pad, and I only used the tampon because I couldn’t get to a pad.

You could try getting a couple overnight cloth pads. They are sooo much more comfortable then disposable, and twice as absorbent. There’s a big difference depending on fabric, I find athletic jersey top from cozyfolkinnovations on Etsy stay pretty dry, I forget I’m even wearing it. 
As far as if tampons are ok overnight, I’m not sure. I’ve heard mixed things on both sides
