Pregnancy test brands???

Question

It seems like all pregnancy test brands say they're 99% accurate so which one should I use? I bought some tests at the dollar store and I'm just wondering about the accuracy. I'm a day late now and I took 2 dollar store tests and nothing on either. Should I take one of a different brand? Or just worry about trying next month? TIA

Definitely use pink dye ones and never the blue dye ones. Blue dyed tests have more false positives given by evaps or indents, and dye runs. I'd stick to the dollar tree ones, if you get a faint positive on those, try a first response pink dye one. :)

I got a BFP on the Dollar Tree tests before it showed up on the First Response tests.  And I would make sure your tests are pink dye.  Good luck!!

If you're planning on testing before your missed period, use the First Response Early Result. These have the best accuracy with testing at early dpos such as 10-14 DPO. and make sure you're testing no earlier than 10-12 DPO. I wasted  about $35 in one cycle because of early testing.

Also, if you haven't missed your period, DO NOT USE the digital pregnancy tests. They take more of the hcg hormone to pull a positive.
