I know I shouldn’t be bothered by this cause it’s not my business. It just bothers me so much when I see mothers giving their children the same middle name! Like why? Lol... 
update: I mean both children having same middle name as each other.

I have the same middle name as my great great grandmother, my great grandmother and my mom and I gave it to my little one I think it’s neat. I’ll do a different middle name for my second though.

I gave my daughter my middle name because it's been passed down for 4 generations now. It means something. It's not just a pretty name that flows with the first name. It's not like we go around by our full name. It's not constantly used when referring to someone....

I have the same middle name as my mum and I like it personally. All of my kids have different ones but all sentimental reasons

You are right...you shouldn’t be bothered by this...but we all have our things the drive us nuts that don’t phase others.
Hopefully this is something that eventually grows on you.  I find it weird too.  My MIL and her sisters all have the same middle name as do all of their daughters.  On that side of the family there is only one girl in the direct blood line with a different middle name.  I kind of wonder if she will be upset by this when she is older.

In one office I worked in (I work for an orthodontist) we had 2 sisters with the same FIRST name, so we had to call them by their middle names. So so dumb.

Our neighbours from years ago had their dads name as their middle names. So there was 5 girls and 5 boys and all 10 children has their dads name as a middle... kinda weird 🤷‍♀️
