Can a OBGYN test you accurately for fertility while you're menstruating?

It's  been a long journey of my TTC, going to the OB for the second  time in this year to hopefully find out more useful info this time. Just my luck I scheduled the appointment and start I never have had a regular cycle but aunt flo shows up when I have a gynecologist appointment.

My doctor especially told me to come on day 1 and he did transvaginal ultrasound and blood tests for IUI cycle. He said the best time to see ovaries and eggs is when women on their period.

It depends, if you're going for blood tests then they have to be taken usually on specific days of your cycle. If you're just going for some information on ttc then it shouldn't matter
