Do I need a baby carrier?

Did you ladies use yours often? They seem rather pricey, and since I'm not having a shower I don't know if it's something I really need to spend the money on.

Yes get a carrier. It's made my life easier and you get extra cuddles. Mine are 18m apart. Still carry them. I have a lenny lamb, ergo, tula and two infantinos. Worth the money.

Yes. I highly recommend getting at least one. I used my Ergo Baby from when my son was a newborn til he was 40 lbs. Its still in great shape! Still have it for our second :)

Is that something you can buy at a baby consignment shop?

I love love love my lillibaby all seasons becouse I can wear my son from infant no insert needed to 45lbs ( I'm not wearing him that long) carry in 6 positions and just be close with him , it has the lumbar support in the back, zip down mesh panel for summer days, head support, shade cover for baby, wide waist belt , seat can be narrowed or widened for baby comfort ( you always want to support out to the knee), back straps can be crisscrossed. I just love it, it was my second choice to a Tula carrier

I didn't think I needed one and I didn't get one but boy was I wrong. Sometimes all your baby wants is to be carried all day long and it just helps to put them in the carrier so you can get things done around the house. I definitely recommend getting one. There are economical ones you can buy on Amazon.

You can purchase a used carrier online! For me, it is a necessity and lifesaver! My son doesn't let me put him down and always has to be held. The Ergo allows me to get off the couch!!😊

I would see if you can borrow one at first instead of buying. We borrowed my SIL and my daughter screamed bloody murder in it she hated it. Saved us a bunch of money. Will borrow one this time around to see how this one is and if they like it we will then buy one but they can be pricy.

Seriously, get one! There might be a baby wearing group where you live that will even let you try them out to see what works for you. There are going to be days where you need to get stuff done and baby is only going to have being held on the brain. A carrier is a lifesaver! Spend a little money on it though, the cheap ones can be cute, but they run very short on function.
