We still don’t know the gender. Boy will be Lincoln but can’t decide on a girl! Middle name will be Mary Beatrice.

I personally find Emerson too masculine for a girl. The -son ending feels weird. But I think McKenna is sweet and fun, so I voted for that!

I have a 6 month old girl named Emerson. When I posted on this page months ago to get thoughts on the name, I got tons of the ‘son’ being masculine comments too. Since she has been born we have not gotten a single comment like that from anyone. We have gotten tons of how much people love it for a girl! Most even said they didn’t know it originated as a big name! I don’t think the ‘son’ matters. There are plenty of other girl names that end in son. Madison, Addison, Allison, etc. If you love it, go for it! We call our Emerson Emmy from time to time!
