I think we've finally decided a name but there's a bit of an issue middle name wise (between the husband and I).

I wanted to use my father's name as a middle name, but being I think we're going with the first name Luke, we really don't want to use two very biblical names together (we're just not religious).

My husband's dad passed when he was really little and his "dad figure" growing up ended up being a childhood friends mom's ex-boyfriend (it's a looooong story). He wants to use his name.

I know that family isn't defined by blood, but I just feel like my dad would be really upset if we used this man's name over him. Especially when he has much more to do with the baby's life.

I'm going to discuss it with my dad, and we're trying to find another name altogether, but I'm just frustrated and wanted to see if anyone had/has similar issues. Thanks!
