Announcing Early

I know there’s a lot of debate over when people announce their pregnancy. Ultimately it’s up to the parents to be, of course.

I understand that there are pros and cons to announcing early, but I’d like to know what you all think.

We personally announced our rainbow baby at just 6 weeks. We were over the moon excited and I got questions from all over the place wondering why we would announce so early and “what if something happens?!”.

My answer is always that if something happens I’d rather have the support of friends and family than have to grieve privately and pretend nothing was wrong 🤷🏽‍♀️
