Do you like this name?

My husband and I are thinking of naming our son Fenix. 
It's pronounced Phoenix, just a different spelling. So far everyone I've told is just like "oh, ok". No good, no bad, just indifferent, it's been weird. I know I shouldn't care, I'm just curious on what everyone thinks. Thank you! :)

I like the name Phoenix, but I think you will have a hard time with people pronouncing it incorrectly. That spelling looks like it's a short "e" sound, rhymes with hen.

I think it'll get mispronounced all the time :-( I really like the name and different spellings are cool but I'm not sure it works. I think he will get called Fen-nix a lot. Maybe at least Phenix?
