Pregnant or is it just a feeling!

How soon after sex can you test for pregnancy. I only ask because we didn’t use protection. I truly mainly only ask because the next day my body got such a feeling like a “you’re pregnant” feeling lol I know it may sound very crazy but sometimes you just know your body. Tell me your story on when you just know? And when can you test? BTW if this help my period is due in 5 more days.
