He’s not ready for a relationship

I’ve been seeing someone for 2 months who abt 3 months ago came out of a 10 year relationship. He says he’s not ready for a new relationship just yet and has since been distant. I offered him that he takes time for himself and we can see what we do after Christmas but he doesn’t want that either! I like him already and don’t know what to do! :-(
