Pet inside a car

I work as a crossing guard at one of my local schools. Yesterday I noticed a teacher arriving with her dog in her car, left him in there as she went to ‘class’. When I came back for the end of the day the dog was STILL in the car. And today she still brought her dog.

My question is do I do anything? I’m not able to say anything because I’m to shy to and get anxiety just thinking about saying something.

NOTE: it is getting colder between like 40-50 degrees. It’s not raining or snowing yet.

Question is do I do anything? If yes WHAT do I do?
