When do you tell your parents?

I’m due July 8th or so won’t know for sure til first appointment next Monday. 5 weeks 1 day today. I really want to tell my mom I’ve known for 2 weeks but we wanted to hold off until after first scan but it’s killing me. I don’t really feel pregnant but BFP with every test I just want to tell her but don’t want to break her heart if we lose another baby.

We will be waiting until after the first scan. Last time that happened around 6 weeks but normally it’s 8-10 weeks. It does help that my parents don’t live close by, so it’s easier to keep it to ourselves. Plus, with a toddler, half of the time I forget I’m pregnant anyway 😂

We are due date twins! I also have my first appt Monday lol.
Once we have our scan and see the heartbeat thats when we are going to make a plan to tell our families. My docs office said after this first appt they will fit me in soon after to have an ultrasound. So I'm I hope my ultrasound is before Thanksgiving.
Also I cry almost every morning because my older sister and my mom dont know. I cannot wait to tell them. They are going to flip! First grandbaby for my mom and my sister wants to be an auntie.

I’m on the same boat!
After our loss in May we had decided that whenever we got pregnant again we would keep it to ourselves until we heard a heartbeat. HOWEVER, now that the time is here, I’m having a hell of a time not telling my mom. I tried convincing him to let me tell her but he’s not going for it. I just know my mom is going to be hurt and if God forbid we go through another loss, I really want her to know. It’s a tough decision.

I had to tell my mom this is my first pregnancy. If I had a miscarriage I would also need my mom to help me get through it. But not everyone is that close with their parents.
