Bottle Fed asking to breast feed?

Question

I have a three year old daughter who was bottle fed (couldn't breastfeed at the time) now I am breast feeding my second child and my daughter is asking to breast feed...should allow her to try?

Well I can only tell you what I think I would do in this situation.  I imagine the 3yr is feeling a bit jealous that maybe you're spending more time with newborn than her.

I would try to explain so she understands that breastfeeding is only for babies and build her up a bit saying she's a big girl now and it's not for her. (You can always fib a bit and say she had her turns already but doesn't remember it cuz it was when she was a baby)

Then perhaps try to set aside some time to spend with the 3yr just the 2 of you so she gets special mommy time alone.

Sure why not? 
I got to try when my mom had a baby. I had been weened 2 1/2 years earlier. I tried a little and didn't want to anymore. I was excited to try it, but it wasn't my taste anymore 😁

She just wants to try .... because she is surely jealous of her sibling.... She wants to know if you treat her and her sibling equal.... 😏 if you're comfortable with: let her try.... She will anyway just do it one time to taste your breastmilk - it won't taste good to her...  No way that she will 'start to be breastfeeded' lol... She's curious... Don't make a big deal of it - and she'll do fine.

I don't think she will have the sucking motion down to get enough so if she were to try she would immediately or be interested since she's so used to regular large sips of drinks lol she won't become attached her curiousity will just be solved

I wouldn't, I mean she's past having fomula already right?... I don't even think that she would be able to latch properly considering it's instinctual to an infant not a toddler unless it's already been there norm from infancy.

If you done anything I would pump and put it in her cup. If she starts breastfeeding now it will become a habit. She starts school in about a year? Can't have her breastfeeding at school. But I don't see anything wrong with pumping and putting it in a cup for her

Why would you start now? Is this to benefit her? It can't possibly. She doesn't know that you didn't breast feed her unless you told her. She's a big girl, eats like a big girl. Has a big strong set of teeth. Do you want to keep your nipples? Lol. Really?
