Is it animal abuse to leave your dog crated for 8+ hours while you work?
Piggy backing off the dog in car post. If this has been discussed before or isn't controversial enough I'll delete it.
So in the scenario that it's just you and your pup with no means of letting the dog have a cage break during your eight hour work shedule, is it abusive to leave them in a crate that long?
Does your answer change if the dog gets a break during your lunch hour or if someone comes to let them out for you?
I've never done it, as I would personally feel guilty but I'm curious to see what others think.
