Too early for a test?

Hi ladies. I am currently on the pill and am sexually active however I never got my period this month. I am nervous because I have never not gotten my period on the pill. I was supposed to get it at some point last week but nothing showed up. I’m planning on getting a pregnancy test after work. Is it too early to test or should it be accurate?

Answer

If you have already missed your period than yes it will be accurate. If you period is coming in the next week or 2 than maybe too early. I’d test anyway. If it comes negative and you don’t get your period in a week test again. If it’s been over a month late and your still testing negative call your doctor
