What does it even mean?
Today I went to my gyno for a Pelvic ultrasound that I had scheduled several months ago. Hadn’t thought much about it but the RN I work with has always said that I could possibly have PCOS. I haven’t really shown any classic symptoms of it. I have occasional acne around my period or ovulation but never anything too terrible. However I haven’t been one to ever be on birth control or really use protection of any kind unless it was with someone I wasn’t in a stable relationship. Out of nearly 3 years that I was with my ex husband I only had one pregnancy resulting in a miscarriage very early on. However despite the fact that we were almost married three years, children wasn’t much of a priority for him. So despite the fact that I have always wanted to be a mom we were still very safe and I have always tracked ovulation. So I figured after not being safe for at least six months with my current boyfriend it would still be something to bring up to the doctor.Cut to the chase the tech did my ultrasound today and I didn’t have a follow-up with the doctor at the time being medical myself I asked her what she saw and what she thought. She said she saw possibly a small ovarian cyst on the left ovary but it did not look like classic Pcos. Need some advice, guidance, some love and hope from the community as I am very worried and scared and don’t want this to interfere with creating a family! Thank you all!
