So my husband’s aunt is really enthusiastic about throwing me a baby shower and I LOVE IT. She’s been sending me things for decor to ask my opinion and I’ve been telling her my preferences and sending her links to things I found. I was also telling her that we could save on decor by getting crafty and making a banner since my sister in law is super crafty. She then respond with “that’s fine, you and (SIL name) can work on it” and “find things and I’ll just pay you for it”

I feel like I should have just kept my mouth shut and enjoyed what she had envisioned and put together. I feel terribly and want her to know that I appreciate EVERYTHING she’s doing. I texted her that and called leaving a voicemail telling her that I anted to meet up for coffee and talk and that I love her. I just don’t know what else I can do to remove my entire foot from my mouth.
