Anyone else have a semi strenuous/active job?

I work on an ambulance so I’m constantly climbing up in it and down, carrying equipment/stretcher, lifting patients and unloading them - I am SO exhausted today. I have been moving like a sloth. Haven’t had any super heavy patients today thank God, but I’m still pretty tired. 😓
Anyone else slothy?

Oh yay other ambos!! Been feeling very tired, nauseous mostly when I'm in the front but when with patients it's fine so far. Just napping in short bursts when we make it back to station due to exhaustion. 
I'm over 6 foot and not tiny so it's going to be ridiculous getting around in the back once i get a big bump as well. Haven't been put under lifting restrictions, but waiting until a few weeks further along to tell work. I am a bit concerned temp wise as going into summer its getting to 35-40deg already and I'm struggling to keep cool and hydrated as is! When are you guys planning timeline wise for going on light duties?

I’m an SLP in a hospital setting, so I know the vibes! Just trying to take it easy where I can, asking for help is okay, walk slower as needed. Get plenty of rest... I’ve been sleeping SO much. 
🙏🏼 I know I don’t do the lifting like you OTs/EMS do, but when you think about it... so many other women have done this before us! We have the comfort of knowing that many, many other women have had demanding careers and safe pregnancies. So I wouldn’t take your acupuncturist’s suggestions as the truth, just something to consider. Go easy on yourself where you can :-)

I work on an ambulance as well but my doctor already placed me on a lift restriction. Soooo waiting to hear from HR on how to go about light duty if that's possible.

Yes! I’m an occupational therapist in an acute rehab setting, squatting, lifting people, wiping after toileting, moving equipment, etc. I luckily have mainly been training a new hire the past two weeks, but I’m nervous for returning to a full schedule. I even had my acupuncturist/eastern medicine doctor tell me I need to take leave from work because I’ve had a chemical pregnancy before and a history of infertility so she says I’m at high risk of miscarrying. Just what I needed to hear...
