Anyone hit a blood vessel with a stim injection?

Question

I think I did tonight. I injected 175 iu of follistim and as soon as I pulled out the needle I had a pea sized welt at the site. It bled more than usual and bruised a bit instantly. Anyone else ever have this happen? I’m just looking for confirmation that it’s normal lol! This was my fourth stim injection on my first cycle of IVF so you know I’m overthinking everything these days.

I always got welts. I rubbed them away. For me it was just the medication under my skin until I massaged  it. Sometimes they bled more than usual. Did the welt go down after rubbing it? If so, don’t worry the med just collected in one spot

Yup! With my progesterone oil shots in my butt! Hurt like hell and my whole butt had welts and black and blues! Don’t miss those!
