Can Vitex delay your period?

Question

I started taking Vitex supplements (about 400-500mg) daily to try and regulate my period. So far I’m on cycle day 70 with no sign of AF in sight. Has anyone ever experienced a delay in their period after starting Vitex? I’m tempted to stop the pills but I’ve seen online that it’s recommended to give Vitex 2-3 months to work.

I’m currently taking vitex as well but I haven’t noticed anything yet either. I’m on month four of no period and have been taking the vitex for around three months. I’m just waiting it out and seeing what happens. I wish I could offer you some information or advice🤷🏼‍♀️

I took Vitex in August got my period in September and since then no period... should I increase to 2 pills? I domt have insurance so no doctor so I have to stick to vitamins

I took Vitex once immediately after coming off birth control last year, withdrawal bleed and all. 28 days later, I got a normal period. But then as I kept taking it the next couple months, I never got a period, so I quit. Doctor then prescribed me Provera. I’m afraid to try it again.
