Can plan b make your period lighter?

So I took plan b last Thursday because last Wednesday the condom broke. He didn't cum inside of me after we heard it break he pulled out.  my boyfriend and I went to the pharmacy Thursday night. I took it roughly 24 hours after the condom broke. I was wondering if taking plan be can make your period lighter? And I was supposed to get my period yesterday but I got it today.
