I am trying to buy my fiancés and my wedding band... But ... What's best?

​Tungsten? 
​Sterling Silver? 
​Stainless Steal? 
​rhodium plated? 
​ 
​we would like black wedding bands ...

My husband's is titanium. I was too nervous for tungsten because they need a special tool to cut it off in an emergency. Most ambulances and hospitals carry it now but I didnt want to risk the odd chance they didn't.

Have you thought about allergies? With me if I wear any piercings that aren't gold or sterling silver I get an infection and swelling and pus. Even in my ears that have been done for the last 24 years and are healed I still get a bad reaction. Certain metals make my fingers go green so I stick to gold or white gold or sterling.

I love my blue Tungsten Carbide band. I wear it when I'm not wearing my diamond. It's very comfortable and I barely notice it on my hand.

There is one metal that can't be cut off if your finger gets stuck or something... Maybe it's titanium? They have to cut off the whole finger instead of just the ring!!

My husband has a gunmetal color tungsten ring he loves it. Tungsten is a very strong metal.

Tungsten is one of the strongest metals. My DH has one. He had put it through a lot and no dents and scratches.
