Should we find out the baby's gender?! I'm 17 weeks just now and can't decide whether to find out at 20 week scan or keep it a surprise for the delivery room! Help! 💖💙

I said no because I'm not. It'll make the delivery and labor that much more worth it, not that it isn't already.

I guess I just think it'll be a nice surprise when I'm exhausted.

I am 17 weeks too and going nuts waiting for my sono on Monday and then reveal party next Saturday! We are gonna find out with everyone else at the party :) I'm a ftm and can't handle not knowing cause it's too hard to plan. I think if I already had a boy and girl, I might be okay with a surprise cause I'd have plenty of hand me downs

My dh and I made the decision long before our BFP to keep the gender a surprise until delivery ( I'm 15 weeks 4 days now!). My mom didn't know what I was and my mil didn't know what she was having either. I think it will make the delivery that much more special for us. In the end though it is up to you, don't let anyone make that decision for you! Congratulations on your little one!

We have a daughter and now we will have a boy. So next baby we aren't finding out since we will have everything for either gender. I like to be prepared so that's why we've found out.

I did find out, but my mom and MIL didn't know with me, and I think down the road I probably will keep it a surprise with any future kids. This will be my first child after 2 losses, and I needed a pronoun and a name to bond with! Just do what your gut tells you :)

At first I wanted to wait but then we did the genetic testing that tells you gender and now I can't imagine going 9 months not knowing
